Greetings,

IAQA sends our thoughts and prayers to those impacted by the tornadoes that have affected multiple parts of Tennessee. We have many members in the Tennessee area who will be directly impacted by the tornadoes and their damages. Please know that our prayers are with you and your families.

As those that are impacted by the storm’s path try to gain control of their damaged homes, our vast network of IAQA members will be responding to those in need and taking action to provide necessary emergency aid. Many of our members have already begun to mobilize and will be ready to provide essential assistance when called upon.

Dealing with the aftermath of a storm can be an emotional time for anyone. Many occupants and owners can feel a pressure to find quick solutions that allow them to resume their normal daily lives. Although these solutions might be the easiest, they may create more problems in the future. These issues must be addressed by experts with specialized knowledge of the damage your home is facing.

IAQA has Storm Damage Resources on our website that can be accessed by anyone who is in need of guidance and direction.

We want our IAQA community to know that our IAQA staff is prepared to provide guidance and the necessary support in this time of need. From answering questions, to providing information about IAQA members in your area who are providing emergency services, we are here to help. You can also visit IAQA’s Find-a-Pro directory feature on our website to locate an indoor air quality professional in your area.

Our hearts and prayers go out to those in need and to those IAQA family members who are responding to that need.

Warmest Regards,

Jay M. Stake

IAQA President
