Topic: Spray Polyurethane Foam Insulation: A Comprehensive Review of the Chemistry, Application, Benefits, and Potential IAQ Impacts of SPF
Presented by: Ernest Wysong
When: September 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM Eastern
Where: Zoom
Here is a brief description of Ernest’s presentation:
Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) is one of the most efficient, high performance insulation products available providing both excellent R-value per inch and air sealing properties. Unlike most insulation products, SPF is created on-site by professional applicators and creates a customized building envelope product. The chemistry and application parameters play an important role in how well the installed product will perform, both for insulation and potential Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) metrics. This webinar will cover the chemistry of SPF, as well as the application factors that influence its benefits and impacts on IAQ, both positive when installed correctly, and negative if protocols are not followed. In addition, case studies will be provided illustrating the benefits to IAQ when new SPF products designed for low VOC emissions, Ultra-Pure™ HD and LD, are installed per system trained applicator protocols.
