Air quality in the healthcare environment has never been more important or more awareness about this issue than it is today. Mike is certified in the comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene and has been working in indoor quality for the past 33 years. He currently works for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as an Infection Control Industrial Hygienist where he keeps children safe from hazards of the built environment.

Mr. Mount will present on reviewing the existing air quality standards in ORs in the US and in Europe, the different method / techniques used to test surgical suites and the different air cleaning methods of achieving the air quality goal as required by regulatory bodies including ASHRAE.

Mr. Amelio has been in the restoration industry since 2009. He has attained IICRC Triple Master status as well as some additional specialty drying courses. He also has provided training in proper mitigation execution, sales techniques and tactics and project management admin for proper project documentation. He also has his GA insurance adjusters license and work residential, commercial and heavy equipment claims as well as marine surveying.

Mr. Amelio will share with us some of the strategies and products that are used when restoring a building from a fire event and where the water and mold restoration industry is heading.
