Training Courses
IAQA’s training courses are taught by highly skilled instructors who are experts in their field. These courses are designed to prepare individuals for various certification exams or earn continuing education credits.
Do you hold a Florida MRSA or MRSR license? All of IAQA’s training courses have been approved by the State of Florida for continuing education hours towards your MRSA and/or MRSR license renewal.
Ian Cull

Ian Cull is a P.Eng. and CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) based in Chicago, IL. He is the owner of Indoor Sciences, a training and consulting company.
Mr. Cull is a renowned speaker and consultant on topics related to indoor air quality, mold, and building science. He has performed indoor environmental assessments since 1995 on hundreds of buildings of all different types.
Ian Cull has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering from one of the country’s top Environmental Engineering programs at University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
He wrote and developed 50 classes for IAQA University covering topics such as HVAC, building science, assessments, sampling, and remediation.
Joseph “Radio Joe” Hughes is the president of IAQ Training Institute, LLC, an environmental consulting, training and media corporation, located in Central City, Pennsylvania.
He has more than 25 years of experience as an environmental health & safety consultant and educator. His company not only provides training in indoor environmental awareness, investigation and remediation, but produces IAQ Radio.
He holds a degree in secondary education from the University of Pittsburgh and serves on the Board of Directors for the Institute for Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. In 2016 Radio Joe was inducted into the IAQA Hall of Fame.

Brad Kovar

Brad Kovar is the founder, President and CEO of Safeguard EnviroGroup, a distinguished indoor environmental consulting firm in Southern California, which also operates IAQprepcourses.com. He holds board awarded designations and is third-party accredited by the Council of Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards and the National Commission for Certifying Agencies.
Mr. Kovar has extensive experience as a hygienist, author and instructor in the indoor environmental industry, and has served on national and international indoor environmental scientific committees and boards. He has participated in the investigation and analysis of hundreds of smoke damage claims involving structural, protein and wildfires throughout the US, including every major California wildfire in recent history. Mr. Kovar developed the industry’s first Council-certified Fire and Smoke Damage Consultant credential for the American Council for Accredited Certification including the designations study guide and exam review.
