Derrick A. Denis

For nearly a quarter century Mr. Derrick A. Denis has provided professional environmental consulting and industrial hygiene services throughout the United States. Since earning a B.S. degree in Environmental Science from Phillips University in Oklahoma, Mr. Denis has worked in both environmental consulting and remediation. Mr. Denis holds or has held various industry-relevant certifications including, but not limited to, Council-Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC), Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional (CIAQP) and Council-Certified Emergency Operations Professional (CEOP). He has contracted, managed, and/or performed over 15,000 indoor environmental quality (IEQ) projects. He is the long-time Vice President of Indoor Environmental Quality for Clark Seif Clark, Inc. (CSC).
Mr. Denis is an esteemed participant in IEQ industry as a practitioner, as a volunteer and as an educator. Historically, Mr. Denis served on the Board of Directors for the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) and the Environmental Information Association Arizona Chapter (EIA-AZ). He served on the Advisory Board of the American Council for Accredited Certifications (ACAC)/American Indoor Air Quality Council (AmIAQC). He served as the Chapter Director for the Phoenix IAQA Chapter. Mr. Denis was an adjunct faculty member of the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) and was an instructor for the Institute for Facility Management Education at the Electric League of Arizona (ELA).
In his capacity as an IEQ expert, Mr. Denis: has appeared on television, been quoted in major & local newspapers, published a paper in a peer reviewed scientific publication, and published numerous articles in industry and non-industry periodicals.
Serving as both a designated expert and/or consulting expert in a variety of litigation, arbitration, and insurance appraisal hearings, Mr. Denis has been deposed numerous times, provided opinions in several expert conferences, and provided testimony at trials. Mr. Denis has an established record as a qualified impartial expert, having provided expert services for each side of the table (plaintiff & defense, homeowner & builder, insured & insurance company, etc.).

He has provided expertise to a wide variety of clients and building systems such as production companies, school districts, insurance companies, nuclear hot cells, private homeowners, property managers, general contractors, developers, commercial tenants, municipalities, states, high rises, public utilities, sound studios, hospitals, restoration contractors, attorneys and environmental contractors.
